The fastest way to connect your converter box is to use a coaxial cable, such as the one supplied with the Zenith DTT901.

1. First, make sure your converter box is connected to a VHF-UHF TV antenna.

2. The familiar coaxial cable will bring audio and video signals from the converter box to your analog TV over one connection. Just plug one end of the coaxial cable into the "To TV (RF)" jack on the back of the box and plug the other end into the "Antenna Input" or "Cable In" jack on the TV.

3. Then, turn on your TV and tune to Channel 3 or 4 (this varies by local market, but it's the same channel used when connecting a VCR to your TV.)

To setup up the converter box after you have the cables connected, tune the TV to Channel 3 or 4 and turn on the power to the converter box with your remote control. You can use the menu buttons on the remote control to set the Language, Aspect Ratio (4:3 is ideal for most sets), and run a Channel Scan. The whole process takes less than a minute.

Then, you can set the time zone and you're ready to enjoy digital TV programming. From the menu button of the converter box remote control, you can add or delete specific channels and set favorites. Your remote control also has a button for a "what's on now" program guide, a signal strength button for repositioning your antenna to receive weak stations, and other functions like Second Audio Program access and even a sleep timer!
